The Encounter
Hanging in an old spot finding new delicious things is exactly what happened to us on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. The Toni girls and their mommas have a ritual every Sunday: First, it’s off to church we go to get our spirit on and then we come home and decide where we want to go out to eat. And, truth be told, if the sermon is boring we write each other notes back and forth during the service trying to figure out which food place will get our money that day. Because rarely do we ever cook on Sunday’s anymore. Well, on this day an oldie but goodie won our attention. After we debated back and forth with each other we set out on our way.
The Chosen One
We went on our merry way and, of course, I was driving as usual because I don’t let any of my lovely Toni girls drive me. One drives too fast; the other one drives too close up on other cars; and the youngest Toni of them all is a true speed demon and I refuse to have bad nerves and be mashing my feet on the carpet putting on brakes trying to pray they slow down or not drive to close so I do it myself and yes, most of the time I am driving one of their cars. Well we ended up at our chosen location and it was the Cheesecake Factory. It’s Covid comfortable. They have plastic barriers between each table if you want to sit in a booth and they have an outside area also. But baby Mama Toni does not do that heat so we sat inside.
Eye Candy Service
When they showed me to our table I went in alone because the other Toni girls were outside taking advantage of the beautiful scenery taking pictures of the gorgeous Lela Amor designs they wore that day. So, I went in and secured the table and they told me my server would be with us in a moment. And honey up walks this amazingly beautiful piece of eye candy looking like someone sculpted his beautiful lips on him. The young man looked so good I thought I was finally experiencing my first hot flash. He was so attentive that I could have sworn that he wanted to ask me out, even though he was the probably the same age as our youngest Toni girl who is a college student, it didn’t matter because I am sure he had all EYES ON ME. I wanted to take a selfie with him but the Toni girls convinced me that I should just focus on dinner. So, I did and that is when I had the most wonderful encounter.
THE KOREAN FRIED CAULIFLOWER
I had an outer body encounter with some Korean fried cauliflower. One of the Toni girls ordered the cauliflower as an appetizer and said we should try it because it is amazing. She kept talking about the cauliflower before they brought them out and she talks so much that we usually don’t pay her any attention at all. But this time she was so right. She said try it and I did and Oh my gosh, I never knew cauliflower could be so good. Those things are a veggie lover’s dream. They almost made me forget about the EYE candy. I did say almost.
Lastly
Don’t sleep on the oldie but goodie places like the Cheesecake Factory ‘cause honey the Korean cauliflower is absolutely scrumptious. And these are the other things we ordered for dinner but I was so preoccupied with the EYE CANDY I forgot to take a picture of my meal but, all in all, we had a super great time at the Cheesecake Factory!
