THE COVID EDITION
The Toni Girls went on the hunt for some Palm Beach dessert spots to try. A good dessert could be just what the doctor ordered to cope with this quarantine (for the few Floridians who are actually staying at home). We decided to mask up and grab our dessert goodies to go.
On our journey, we found three fantastic Palm Beach dessert spots that satisfied our sweet tooth while we are adjusting to this ‘Rona life. Take a look!
Infusion: A Rollin’ Creamery
Royal Palm Beach, FL
Infusion gave us dessert and a show! The folks at Infusion really go to work when rolling that ice cream! Watching the rolling process was loads of fun (until a stranger invaded our 6-foot Corona cone of privacy and we were forced to disperse).
Infusion’s atmosphere is super cheerful and colorful. From the chalk wall to the adorable murals on the walls, Infusion is the eye candy that makes you want to be a kid again. We couldn’t fully enjoy our experience due to COVID, but we are excited to go back to Infusion when the coast is clear for us to dine inside and gawk at the ice cream rolling process!
The true masterpieces at Infusion are the rolled desserts. The options are endless: You can go wild and add whatever nut, candy, or cake topping to your frozen guilty pleasure that your heart desires. If you can think it, Infusion can make it!
If you’re feeling spunky, try one of their Boba teas. Infusion is located at 1104 Royal Palm Beach Blvd.
Cakes Etc
West Palm Beach, FL
Cakes Etc by Paula “Anipearls” is the gold standard in Palm Beach for cake lovers. The Toni Girls purchased several cakes to sample from this black-owned cake shop, but it was the cookie box that stole our hearts. Our only regret is that we missed out on the chance to try the coveted sweet potato pies. Those pies went like hot cakes. Take our advice: don’t snooze and lose out on the opportunity to get your hands on one of Anipearls’ pies when she is having a bake sale.
For our next dessert run, the Toni Girls will be headed to Cakes Etc! Check them out at 2800 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach.
Dina’s Vegan Deli & Desserts
Riviera Beach, FL
Delectable, delightful, and delicious! Those are only a few of the words to describe the plant-based and cruelty-free dessert options at Dina’s Vegan Deli & Desserts. We are so pleased to present a vegan option as one of our recommended Palm Beach dessert spots!
Who would have thought that a slice of dairy-free cheesecake would have our taste buds twerking?! You should try Dina’s in Riviera Beach, whether you are vegan or not. Check out our blog post on the sandwiches and desserts at Dina’s. Dina’s is located at 1880 W 10th St. Bldg. 106, Riviera Beach, Florida.
Crema
West Palm Beach, FL
Yes, we love ice cream! We found another rolled ice cream shop in West Palm Beach, and we are absolutely in love. Crema has a plethora of options. This dessert shop has the coolest decor, and the smoothest ice cream. We love that Crema has vegan ice cream and options for everyone. Whether you customize your confection or order one of their standard “OG” favorites; you can’t go wrong at Crema. You can also order a smoothie, milkshake, acai bowl, or coffee. Read our full review of Crema’s ice cream.
Crema is located at 310 S Dixie Hwy #318 in West Palm Beach.
Ganache Bakery
West Palm Beach, FL
This black-owned bakery is nestled in the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach. We were so excited to try the adorable desserts at Ganache Bakery. Our favorite dessert item was the carrot cupcake. The thick, creamy frosting on this cupcake was definitely a bite of dessert heaven! The key lime tart that we tried was (almost) too pretty to eat.
Ganache Bakery is located at 306 S. Dixie Hwy.
